These people I live with won’t buy me any cat toys! So, when the kids are in school I like to play with their toys. Here’s me playing with a Fisher Price School House in the sun room. Sometimes I can make the bell in the tower go ding! DING DING DING… what I think they are coming home. I gotta hide- if they catch me playing with their toys, they may want to play with ME!

My advice to you today is “don’t get caught playing with the kids toys or they will make you their plaything.”

I was reading the paper (Chicago Sun Times) today and saw a story about a cat who got lost in a tornado. His name is Smoky, and his mobile house was destroyed the beginning of June. His owner found him just last week on September 15th. I thought I had it rough spending half the night outside! I bet Smoky is glad to be home. Here is a picture of me in the basement crawl space practicing for a tornado. I have my little cappuccino machine with me for emergencies.

My advice to you today is “Always be prepared for natural disasters or getting lost.”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PIXIE ~ from KEY & Michelle

I made a break for it a couple nights ago. I thought I would just go out for a little bit and round up some bunnies. It was my first time outside, since I have lived with this family. Outside was not as good as I thought. It was dark, and cold. There were no bunnies, there was no food. I was lonely. Luckily, I did not get lost and the people let me in right away in the morning when they knew that I was lost. I am going to stick to hanging out in the sun room, that is as close to the outside as I want to get from now on. Here is a picture of me back on my big bed, after a good meal. Home is pretty good!

My advice to you today is “The grass is not always greener outside.”
